Camry doesn't start

My car suddenly stopped in the middle of the highway. Mechanic says there was no coolant and when tried to put coolant, it leaks. What would be the probable cost to repair it? Or should I sell the car to the junkyard?
Please help.

What you're saying isn't making a whole lot of sense. Your car shouldn't just stop if the coolant is low. It should have over heated. But it sounds like your water pump is shot. I wouldn't junk the car if all it needs is a water pump. Probably going to run you between $500-$800 for repairs.
