Need to worry about 2002 Camry and unintended acceleration?

Need to buy used car with cash.  Interested in 2002 Camry with 125,000 miles but now worried about unexpected acceleration.  Having experienced it once 30 years ago, it's a frightening experience and can't imagine it happening in today's traffic.  Opinion on "go for it" or try for another model.
