2002 Toyota Camry 203,000 Speedometer drops randomly when driving and is sometimes accompanied by my engine revving up on it's own to like 3,000 RPMs and now my gas needle is going down very quickly.

Also check the oxygen sensors and check for a clogged catalytic converter..

Sounds like a faulty MAP sensor. If check engine light is on, have codes read. Pull a couple of plugs. If really black or very white in color, that will indicate a faulty MAP sensor. It will cause your engine to burn too rich or lean. Will also cause your engine to surge and you will have terrible gas mileage.
