My camry will not accelerate.

Ok so i have a 2004 camry 2.4L. It idles fine and starts rite up but upon
accelerating from a dead stop to like 40 i can literally floor it and it barely
moves. And further more while accelerating the car will rapidly jerk...like its
falling our of gear momentarily....not like its dropping gear to accelerate just a
hard clunking jerk without going any faster. There is no jump in rpm's it just
slowly climbs to speed. I have replaced the spark plugs, cleaned the fuel
injectors. I was thinking maybe it could be mass air flow sensor? any help
would be great. thanks

Yea the check engine comes on and off. I was kinda thinking maybe it was the catalytic converter. I guess i will pull the 02 censors out and see if i notice a difference in power. Already cleaned and checked injectors...doesnt seem like a fuel problem all injectors are firing evenly.
