Speedometer went off and Brake and ABS lights come on.... electrical or more serious?

While on my way home from church I noticed that my brake light and abs light came on, so i pulled over  and checked all my fluids, they're great. I started out again and noticed that (i didn't notice it before because I was already at a low rate of speed) my speedometer also stopped working. It came back on the next day for a few miles, but then went off again. The tach still works, so I can go by that for speed and otherwise my engine sounds good, I just need to know where to start looking for an issue.

You might want to stop by an Auto Zone parts store. They will scan your computers for codes......for free. This will confirm a bad VSS. God Luck

That would be wheel speed sensor not vehicle speed sensor. The vehicle speed sensor is in or on the transmission, would cause improper shifting and engine light on.
