Repaired CV axle in a 1999 toyota Camry, manual transmission and it won't go in the TA all the way?

Replaced cv axle in a 1999 Toyota Camry Solara, manual transmission, but it goes in the transaxle almost all the wayit?, about 1 to 2 inches and it sounds hard like meddle to meddle, What can be stoping

Are you sure he parts kid understood that it was a standard??? Check the parts #

Are splines properly lined up? Also might take a little bump as you put it in for new snap ring to go in completely. If so equipped.

They said it was for a manual transmission. It goes into the splines a little ways and just stops!

Did you personally double check the parts #? Parts guys can be like pimps sometimes. All they care about are the dead presidents.
