Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,

I'm trying to help my neighbor across the street replace the alternator in her Chevy. It's a 2005 with an Ecotec engine. I've replaced multiple alternators in my life but this sucker is a beast. I'm having difficulty getting the belt off and back on before I take out the bolts. The access to the pulley bolts is ridiculous. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The neighbor is in a hard luck spot and I'd really love to help her out in this tight spot.

Thanks, I had found this video but reaching the idle pulley bolt is impossible from the too. The alternator in thus video is also not in the same configuration, not sure if due to this being a Sunfire and not sure if its an Ecotec.
