No sound from speakers

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My sister bf attempted to install subwoofers in my mothers car and was
unsuccessful. Now the radio turns on but no sounds comes from the
speakers. I have no idea what exactly he did so I dont know how to back
track what he did. is it possible he fried the system and ruined it or are
there some things i can check and see if one of those things fix it? any help
would be great. my mom is pissed.

fuse panel for stereo under dash or hood?

I don't have any blown fuses. I pulled RAD1, RAD2, and AMP. They where fine. However the fog lights stayed working again after who knows how long. I assume that the amp had its own fuses and would like to check that. Where is the amp located and how do I access it? Also does the whole system stop working if one speaker is blown? I'm not for sure if I have one blown but my sister said the drivers side door speaker hasn't worked for about a year. I appreciate your help.
