1999 Celica 5SFE timing belt

My 1999 Celica 5SFE engine calls for timing belt replacement at 6k miles
"severe" - what does this mean, and what is the timing belt replacement
interval for non-severe service - Thanks

You'd have to consult a Toyota repair manual for this info if you can't find it online. You can also ask at a local dealership service desk, they can look it up.

At 6,000 miles? I have never heard of such a thing but if you were racing the car this might apply.
