what is wrong with my clutch

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

was driving home pulled up to a stop sign had already shifted into neutral pushed clutch in and it was like there was no clutch engaging could not get into any gear smoothly
previous to this the drive was totally normal no slipping no grinding nothing so what could have happened?

hydraulic, checked fluid all good, from visual inspection appears to be engaging when I have someone push pedal in with out actually taking apart assembly

It's either the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder if there is no leaks i would so it's more the clutch master cylinder it can go bad with out any leaks. Suggest checking both.
