1.8L 1ZZ FE. A great engine, proven Get the VVTi with coil on plug
There is another 1.8 that will drop in, the 2ZZ GE 40HP more. Less economy and more money and more power if you want to spend about $400 more for a crate motor $3270 or $2900 for 1ZZ FE. Used go for anywhere from $700 high mileage or $1200 low mileage. Problem is proof of mileage...gotta be careful
