Me and buddy been putting transmission in a 2002 Celica Gt. The transmission came out of a 2002 Toyota Corolla and it fit good, but the Celica axles isn't working right. Would a person have to use Corolla axles or what other vehicle axles are compatible with it to fit?

Best answer for this is to get a Celica transmission. I imagine the gear ratios will be wrong also...

Right spot on. The 2002 Celica is 68.3' wide. The 2002 Corolla is 66.73" wide. The drive axles are not compatible. And more, right again about gear ratios. The Celica is a higher performance car that the Corolla with a higher taching engine, even thought it is still tagged 1ZZ FE, or if it has 2ZZ GE even more so.
