I assume you replaced the fuel pump strainer and the fuel filter? Also should do a fuel pressure bleed down test to see if the injectors are leaking.

I'm almost sure the friend I had put the fuel pump changed the strainer. But I'm not 100%..As it obvious I'm a female and don't know how to do a bleed down test....Everyone offers up fix it ideals so the next question. I was told there is a fuse on the body of the car under the hood. ??!!!!Also is it possible that the lines from the tank to injectors need to be bled????That was another suggestion
The fuel lines are self bled. Air is not the problem. And there are all kinds of fuses under the hood. You need a mechanic to be looking at this.

I can't afford one . I have spent almost the same amount of money trying to fix this problem as I did buying the car
Why did you replace the fuel pump in the first place? If the fuel pump is working when you turn the key to on but not to start, you should hear it running in the fuel tank for about 2 seconds. If not, check the fuel pump relay, fuses, and wiring to the pump. You can google the location of fuses and relays to check. Hope this gets you started. Let us know what you find.
