ecu?.new fuel pump, still not running
my 2000 corolla has been running crappy, when u change gears it chug
chugs into the next gear like it doesnt have enough juice..monday i drove
thru the lights and it just whirred to a stop........pushed it off road.checked
oil, water, battery, fuel..all ok..turned it over, starts fine but loses power, but
not like flat battery type dying.........it just starts as per normal and revs ok
but then just runs out of steam.like when u are alsmot out of fuel.so i tow
truck it home...brother loks at it, says fuel pump is not pumping....buy a
brand new fuel pump....it now turns over.u can hear the fuel pump
working.....but it doesnt start..like theres no fuel coming thru.fuses all
good.tried the security reset bit. relays ok......what could it be?.i know thats
trying to find a needle in a haystack.but i just hope somebody can point us
in a new direction to check please..recently had new alternator, new
clutch....im pretty sure its a fuel problem, like it not getting thru........my
brother said something about it might be the ECU>?.if so whats the next
step.thanks.....
