My car wont dtart

I have a 1992 toyota carrolla, i was driving it
yesterday, then went to put a new battery in that
battery didnt work so i put the old pne back in and
it wont start, the sterio wont work the indicators
wont work the only thing that will work when car is
turned on is the headlights ive checked all fuses all
them are fine, but it just wont start unless i role
start it, any ideas??
