Gas Needle Marker doesn't work

My gas needle marker shows empty when I just put gas on my car. How do I
fix this?

Tom's right on. Most of the time, the fuel sending unit is at fault. Unfortunately you usually have to drop the fuel tank to get at it. Sometimes if you tap the fuel tank with a wooden dowel or something else that won't harm the tank you may get lucky and "unfreeze the float" , but more often than not you will have to replace the sending unit.
