on my 2002 corolla, my turn signals and brake lights went out , fuses are good, haz lights work, plus it won't come out of "park" position without pushing the button next to shifter. any suggestions?

Sounds like the lights could be a bad relay or bad ground. The shifter sounds like it's not responding with the brake. You should be able to push the brake and hear a click sound coming from the shifter. If your not getting that click sound something is off in your shifter assembly. I would just replace the whole assembly under the console. It's easier than it seems. But you should be able to get one from the recycle yard cheap. The button you are pushing is the manual release for the shifter
Bodytech,is right,but you may just replace your saftey swicth under dash,which releases your shifter,and on the brake light deal possibly same swicth As far as blinker check your flasher under dash.
