The ONLY way to begin to diagnose your vehicle is by using a code scanner to first see what the code is and then to diagnose from there with a predetermined check list. If you were having a code for an evaporative emmission leak, large or small, and the tech was just replacing parts to fix it then that's not how you repair vehicles. That being said you've replace 2 of the most common things which cause a code for that leak. If you live in a state that sees tough winters and uses salt or calcium chloride on the roads in the winter then you may want to have your fuel filler neck, evaporative emission pipes checked for rust holes. I hope this helps
