AC wont stay on recirculate (2 Questions)
1st since Ive purchased this 2004 Corolla, The Recirculate button will not stay on. This is the button that is used to keep outside Air from coming in. I know all the issues with continuous usage. I need it for roadside grass cutters, Sewage plants I may pass , or even just being behind any foul smelling Vehicle. Ive tried Holding for seconds to reset, cleaned the glove box filter, and Currently use a US Dime wedged between the Button to use this feature of Re circulation.
My Question is this, Is there a fix to why the Recirc wont stay on after pressing the button?
Lastly, AC was mildly cold and cycled a bit more than I figured would be normal, So I Added a R134a. Yes to the Low side, and found that the AC Was not even blowing cold air anymore. Ran for awhile, then Again keeps cycling. I released a bit of the gas, since I did not have a gauge. But it seems to still be cycling, But blowing again mildly cold air.
Im leaning towards Orface tube, Anyone had this issue and resolved?
