Should I buy this car?

I’m considering buying a 2003 Toyota
Highlander but it has 195000 miles on it. So
I’m wondering what kind of maintenance
pricing I’m looking at during the first year.

Plan on getting anywhere from another 1 mile to 50,000 miles out of it. Don't buy a high mile car unless you can afford to lose your money tomorrow.

Yes, at 195K have some extra money for fluids and filters, but more importantly, thinks like suspension work, engine, transmission, etc. Like FOR said, anything can wrong at that high a mileage. Are you buying from a private seller with a full maintenance history. then I would consider it.
