Putting this up for my brother he’s been
having trouble with his car he’s drives it for
about 30 minutes and then it’ll turn off
while driving and then has to wait hours to
get it to turn on (Cant jump start)can’t
figure out what could be going wrong need
help.
He’s already replaced
*Alternator
*Fuel pump
*Fuel filter
*replaced battery
And nothing it still keeps turning off

Wait a minute. Has he checked to see if he has a maintenance code logged for him to read, telling him there is an issue he needs to deal with (only because that's what I'm working on). Pre "96 vehicles have OBD (on board diagnosis) codes stored. A paper clip to use as a jumper in the engine compartment at the diagnostic terminal box, key to the ignition switch, and count the flashing light on the dash panel (first short pause separate the digits, mine is 2 , 4 , =24). Later vehicle use OBD II codes, most read as P0420, P01XX,P01X1, etc. and need the readout box ($9) and an app to download to your phone..
