Back door dashboard light on my 2001 rav 4 stays on when door is cosed

The back door light on dashboard stays on lathe time which causes the battery to
deplete.

have you checked the switch on the back door frame? if that is stuck or broken it would show as an open door on the dashboard

Thanks for answer. I looked all around back door frame but I couldn't find switch. Any chance you might know where it is. Thanks again.
