05 Chevy equinox

I stopped at a light and I felt a the truck jurk forward
then when taking off the truck really didn't move
forward much but I put it in reverse and the truck
acts normal then when I parked it and turned it off I
couldn't turn it back on so jumped with cables with
in mins it turn off by it self having trouble finding out
what's wrong with it

Sounds like maybe your battery is not getting charged. I would jump it again and test the voltage at the battery with the truck running. It should have some where around 14 volts. It it is closer to 12 volts or lower then you need to test the alternator
After the first time it turned off I jumped it the battery then few mins later turned off again what do think is the problem?
Well. If you can, charge the battery. If it starts and runs after you charge the battery. Then test alternator. If it starts with out have a jump after charge the battery but still dies. Then you may hVe an other problem. But without looking at it. It sounds like either the battery or the alternator or both is the cause
