Timing chain, variable valve solenoids clogged with metal, cam and crank seniors covered in metal, oil pump scored from metal passage, cam phasers clogged with oil. The timing chain stretches or low oil pressure puts slack in chain. In either case the top camshaft guide gets chewed up and its plastic/metal. Makes everything fail because of metal shards. Or its just a bad spark plug or something, but your car has a know problem. Timing chains

Putmytimein is right on target let it go to long timing will jump bending all the valves. Replacement engine starts at 2000.00
Cheapest solution is dump it and buy a non chevy and most are daewoo supplied engines
