scanner diagnostic tool for toyota sequoia

any simple OBDII scan tool or code reader will read it. in 1995 the US govt. mandated all new us cars, and foreign cars destined for us markets have the same diagnostic system, so OBDII was born. I use the simple equis code scanner from walmart in conjunction with a manual for reference to the vehicles systems. code readers are far easier to use and understand for the entry level home repair person. Actual scan tools require a bit more knowledge to understand fully. As an exmechanic, I'd own one, except they cost so much. I hope this helps you
