My 2005 Chevy Malibu won't stay running every 4th time I try to start it

check for a good ground at the fuel pump disconnect , when you hit the key to RUN position the pump will prime the system once it starts another circuit will take over , you need a fuel pressure gauge to see if that;'s the problem , also see if the injectors are firing when it dies , unfortunately you can only test things when the problem occurs , it could be spark test for that when it dies on you , try to avoid guess work , I've heard of mechanics that use guess work and return the vehicle after replacing parts but not solving the problem ,
