2005 Chevy suburban starting.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My 2005 Chevy suburban won't start for 30min after it has been running. In the morning it starts fine. When you shut it down and try to restart it all the lights come on the fuel solenoid clicks and runs but the starter does not run. After 30min or so the car starts normally.

Just a guess, but I will say it is the starter solenoid. Unfortunately, you have to buy it as a set so may need new starter. You can try tapping the starter with a hammer if your in a pinch.

The odd thing is that it will start perfectly first time every time if it has been longer than 30min since the last time it ran

Changed the starter and had it tested the solenoid worked but the starter motor was bad probably the bearings it clunked when I turned it upside down and it turned very slowly on the testing machine, Thanks for the answer.
