Question type: Maintenance & Repair

No heat from front vents of 2005 Chevy Suburban even w/ fan turned all the way up on
digital read out. As RPM go up more air comes out (@ temp), less when going slower.
Not sure where to start with what to check/fix. No problems w/ rear fan control.

I should clarify - the air that does come out when RPM are up is warm to whatever temp is set, the problem is I can't get any change in the amount of air blowing from the front vents even w/ the fan set to high

First start with checking the fuse. Then look at the plug where the blower motor resistor plugs into the blower motor. The plug sometimes melt and end up shorting out the blower motor and blower motor resistor. If the fan only works on High then it will be just the blower motor resistor. All of this is located behind the glove box near the firewall.
