Better Performace

Asked by Hope Jesse Feb 13, 2016 at 12:09 PM about the 2004 Toyota Tacoma 4 Dr V6 4WD Crew Cab SB

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2004 Tacoma. My question is what is the best
direction I need to go to get better Performace out of my
truck. Should I go with a Performace chip and
programmer or should I go with a super charger.
My truck seems like it's lugging all the time

Probably do both, then you'll be good. They would program to the set-up of what you have going on. A super charger with a performance chip? Think about it.

What's the best chip to buy and supercharger! I can't afford a 3 to 4 thousand dollar supercharger

http://motorvationefi.com/ ....This guy makes up a chip for your needs, $400 tho. You may look in Jegs, or Summit Racing, I know there are some pre-progammed chips out there cheaper. I had motorvation make me a chip, but I have 400 horses to turn on. T.J. is the guys name, he goes around the drag racing circuit.
