look under the truck where the engine meets the transmission. The starter is round and will be inserted into the face of the transmission as you are looking towards the back of the vehicle

Hi after spending 1 1/2 days removing my 200 tondra starter motor it is ON TOP OF THE ENGINE UNDER THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. GOOD LUCK HAVE FUN LABEL YOUR HOSES

I was thinking for years that I was going to be doing it from the top and disassembling the top I slept 2 hours worrying about it I'm still a little sick to my stomach but I don't feel like I've been kicked in it now.i have read so real nightmares
