where is the oil filter located ?

I would like to change my oil and cannot find the cartridge holder

Call your dealer and ask them where the filter is located. They should be able to tell you easily. I have seen cartridge filters located in almost every possible location in recent years. Your owner's manual may also show where the oil filter is located.

it is up by the left front under a black cap that takes a special wrench on the bottom side.

And yes you will have to remove the skid plate to get at the oil filter as well! :)

Wow, you have to remove the skid plate on the new Tundras??? That sucks, my 2002 is much easier to locate and change and you don't have to drop the skid plate!
