were is the oil filter located

Hi Jimm! I couldn't find that info on the web but apparently this is a popular game with Tundra owners. if you don't want to spend on a repair manual for your PU or call your Toyota dealer's service manager (both good practical course of action) then head on over the Tundra Solutions Forum (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/) and post a inquiry there. That should yield results for you! Good luck!

Tundras have the oil filter either in plain sight on top drivers side of the engine (which I assume yours doesn't) Or you have to remove the skid plate from the bottom of the engine to access it.
On the 2011 the canister (filter inside) is located on passenger side front of the block. Motiv tool has the best canister removal tool. Don't bother with the push in canister drain. Remove the canister over your oil pan, clean, replace the filter and O-ring. Ten minute job, easy access to the canister.
