Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The orangle piece in the picture needs replaced on
both doors (driver and passenger side).
Anyone know the proper names for this particular
piece or where to find them?

That’s what I would think it would be called. However, I bought some yellow rod clips that I thought would fit, but they are backwards and fit the rod that controls the door handle from the inside. I cannot find the rod clip that fits the outer door lock

unfortunately you will need to get them from Toyota, they also may tell you they only come with the handle.

I am researching the door lock assembly cables. From their installation for door lock cable assembly for 2000 tundra. I am finding more than I could googling door latch or utube videos.so I am suggesting try using these ideas. The installation give you all kinds of areas .. and ideas of what to google and names of parts you may need.
