2002 Tundra 4Hi light continuously flashes when 4X4 is diengaged

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Goes in and out of 4x4 fine. all indicators correct when engaged, but 4 Hi in instrument panel and light on button flashes contiuously when disengaged

If you cycle it ON-OFF....ON-OFF...will this make the problem go away or is a terminal condition, like a blown fuse~...stuck relay or vacuum hose fallen off or cracked?~

This is just a question, and somehow gets rewarded?...was it a sticking relay...did the spray of WD-40 into the mechanism solve the problem...? what's the dealie -oh~?
