Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We are looking at a 2002 Toyota Tundra with 192,000 miles on it.  My husband
turned it on (didn't test drive it) and he thought he heard a tick.  The dealer is
asking $7995 for the truck.  Advice?

That is very high miles even for a Toyota. Have the truck inspected if you are concerned about any noises. Look at it this way - how many miles will you drive this truck? If you put 15,000 miles a year on it you may have over 250,000 miles on it by the time it is paid off.

As long as you take care of it it's a good truck my truck when I got it had 67000 miles on it ok now today has 256779 miles on her ok my truck had never ran a check engine light idk why but at least I'm a mechanic bc I still today only run my blueDriver
