Check engine and engine with downward arrow

I have a 05 trailblazer today I started it just fine,drive
it for under an 1/8of a mile then the check engine
and engine with the arrow pointing down came on
the car shut off and won't start.any idea???

Having the same problem!!!! Did you fix it? And what was wrong with it? My car won’t start either.

I had the same problem 05 trailblazer ls. The speed diminished as I drove. I pulled to a side street, it was still running. I switched to Parking gear then back to drive and it drove back to normal. I pulled in to a shop the scanned it, yet they said there was no codes..

Unhook the battery for 5 minutes it should go back to normal
