Transmission slipped into neutral

What would make the transmission disengage
while driving normally on the highway? Felt like it
slipped into neutral. No warning signs. No noise,
no grinding or slipping. Coasted to the side of the
highway and it goes into park but theres nothing
happening in forward or reverse.

Got the transmission rebuilt and back on the road, the problem was the front pump seized.
