Oil pressure and overheating
1 Answer
Salley, do you have the i6 engine? Probably so. Our gauges are horrible. Make sure you have oil, look up near the oil filter, that's where your oil pressure sensor is. If it has oil on it, replace it. You're over heating is probably a different problem. Again, our gauges are junk, hook up a scanner and get the real temperature, a hot non-overheating engine will read 210 or a tad over. Should be around 195 which is what your thermostat should be rated near. Do you have any check engine lights? Things to look at would be coolant level, thermostat, water pump (wiggle the fan, should be no movement back and forth), fan clutch, or temperature sensor located right above the stat.
