I have a 2004 avalanche and the speedometer and all gauges do not turn on, when I start it. why it does this sometime?

Did you have any codes read yet ? Did you look for blow fuses in the fuse block ? Did you check for any loose wires or loose grounds under the dash ?

There was a recall on the instrument cluster several years ago. They replaced the cluster under warranty if it had less than 70000 miles.

Ur sensor for all gauges on dash is going out change out. It cost a lil about $20 for sensor. I replace over 57 sensors for 2002 to 2006 chev Avalanche trucks..
