Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My hubby was driving this past evening and was on uneven pavement being graded. He was on the higher up part of pavement and when the road switched to the lower pavement, he said it felt like he hit a bump (going from high to low pavement) and car immediately shut off. Were thinking if this car has a fuel pump shut off switch, it may have been tripped. He has the car parked at side of road and had to borrow a family member car to finish working, so he's not around the manual for it at the moment

This vehicle is not equipped with a fuel cut off inertia switch. That's Fords world. Check out all Electrical connections, inspect under the hood you know an impact caused something to stop functioning. Example did the battery ground from being loose etc.

Thanks for responding so quickly. We are on our way up to where it's sitting at now. My hubby said everything electrical works, he can try turning it over, it's acting like it's not getting any fuel. He said when he hit the uneven pavement the car shut off. When he tried to start it back up its acting like its out of fuel, but it's not
