right blinker stays lit when headlights are on and wont blink, but will blink only when headlights are off. also all
lights in dash board will blink along with it as well. i switched the fuses and checked the bulbs and they were fine
but still has the problem. i read it might be the turn signal relay? where is it located?

you have a blinker bulb out. even though your parking lights may be on, most of the bulbs have dual filaments in them. the filament that comes on when your parking lights are on is different from the filament, that flashes when you have your blinker on. the best thing to do is turn on your right blinker and walk around the car and see if one of your bulbs is not shining, pay close attention to your corner markers, they are the small 194 bulbs, and are easy to miss. if your left blinker is working, then it is definately not a blinker relay, which is located either under the driver side dash above the access plate, or in the fuse box. it should look like a round metal cylindrical box about a 1 1/4 inch in diameter, and about one inch tall
Aslo check the rear taillight socket's as they are known to burn out.
Have a Calais vs...rifht blinker light is on ... ignition is turned off and so are lights
I have an 06 crown Vic. My left blinker light went out and I replaced the bulb but now instead of staying on when my headlights are on as they are supposed to, the right side is on but the left side only works when I turn on the blinkers. What could this be?
