I have a 2004 Chevy impala with a 3.4 that needs a fuel pump. I also have a 2004 Grand Prix with a 3.8.....will the fuel pump from the Pontiac fit the impala?.

I have a 2004 impala I went to get in my car this morning it would not turn over there was a sound when I turned the key back upward like turning it off, there was a sound like a tick tick tick tick tick tick sound why the car was off could it be the alternator or the inition switch I took the battery for a charge and it had 7% but they didn't say the battery wasn't any good they charging it overnight
