Heat won't blow unless I hit the top of the dash in the car, after it does run it serges when I accelerate. It will not turn on at all unless I hit the dash

Thanks Guru9FSV8! If it's not too much to ask would you by chance have a good video link. I'm not a professional mechanic by all means but have been turning wrenches for a while and would not like to have to tear the whole car apart trying to fix this. I never have good look with vehicles and am burnt out on fixing vehicles so the fastest way to fix this will be best. If I can watch a video I can fix it but every video I have looked at, I'm not sure if it's correct? Thanks

I just went to YouTube and typed in 2004 impala blower motor I got a lot of choices. There are several there that will help you. Check the blower while you are at it.
