ok that doesnt have that type od ignition, however if its the 4 cylinder u can see a big plastic control module run across the top of motor if u disconnect the wire plug into that it wont start, also the 6cyl has a coil pack on backside of motor over the valve cover it has plug ins to it that u can actually see the spark plug wires to it...also its easier tio get into ur fuse box underhood and just pull ignition or fuel pump relay or fuse
How about putting the keys in a safe place?
Distributer? I have'nt seen that on a GM car since 1987! Anyway, find the fuse for the fuel pump, and pull it out.
i too, would pull the pump fuse. fuel pump relay or starter relay is also easy to do.
the bad thing about disableing the fuel pump is that there is still fuel in the line the car will start and run for a few moments before it runs out of gas. hopefully she 's not already in traffic when it does shut down. the plug on the spark control would be a better choice or buy a Club and lock the steering wheel.
