'91 Benz 300SEL. Started having hard, cold start problem. Replaced distributer cap, rotor & plugs. (needed) Replaced Voltage Regulator. Did not help. Need some advice.

hard start when cold. ABS light comes on when starting. When it warms up,
runs ok but not peak performance. Already replaced Dist. cap, rotor, plugs.
Also replaced voltage regulator. Did not help. When warm, it starts fine.

Check the spark, see what it looks like, it should be white in color, not orange in color, may be a weak coil, also check the fuel pressure, if it is getting low it would cause hard starting.
