Question type: Car Customization

If I get a proper roof rack for the 1991 300E, what is the maximum weight carrying capacity of the
structure.  I have a sliding roof opening.  What is the best and heaviest weight carrying type of roof rack?

I would check the owners manual, alot of times they put the max weight and carry capacity for your specific car in there. Thats where I would start.

I did a quick search and read that 200 lbs was the max as per what the owners manual should have written. Heres the link and I would still double check to make sure. link: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/open-discussion/298330-how-much-weight-can-300te-roof-rack-hold.html
