Transmission on 04 suburban 5.3 liter 4x4

While driving home the clip came off of the hose that goes
into the bottom of the radiator. It leaked all fluid out and
now won't shift into 3rd gear after replacing part and fluid

So it didn't leak coolant. It was the lower transmission line where it goes to the radiator to cool the tranny fluid. I dont know how the he'll the clip even came off in the first place it was a pain in the ads to even get a new one on. Any way....it goes into 4 wheel high....auto..and 1st and secind gear but not 3rd or 4 low. And when I put it in 4 low it makes a god awful noise trying to go in and then stops
