Inline six c280s are known for blowing head gaskets at mileage over 100K ( the V6s don't have this problem). overheating is a typical symptum of a blown head gasket. Look in the coolant bottle for any signs of oil in the water. The head will have to come off and a new head gasket fitted if that's the case.
