Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a c280 yr 2000 I have the problem of bad idle, stalls at drive through, wait at light or stop sign. So far I have had the following replaced: crankshaft sensor $400.00 air flow hose thing $350.00 6 spark plugs and #2 ignition coil $581.00 temp 80 or 85 when it stalls and still nothing It seem this happens as if the engine gets hot, the stalls happen more often now. I don't know what to do. I can only drive the car at very short distances. I need help.
Thank you

Mbworld.org --- been reading on there where other owners are having the same issue. Turns out their problems stemmed from either bad harness correction to maf sensor or faulty maf sensor. Several bought after market maf sensors with no luck but when they installed new oem Mercedes brand maf sensors the rough idle and stalling cleared up and it ran like it should.

Thank you, I will look for the prices on the sensor and after Christmas call for a new garage to install it. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

you need to change the plugs, cables, and the three coils...make sure you clean out the plugs base....
