Radiator fan clutch

I replaced the fan clutch for the
radiator when I started the car the fan
came on really fast and never came on
again is there a sensor that controls
this fan what could be the problem

You sure you hooked the wiring back up? Drivers side of the fan shroud is where the connector goes into. I will say this.....I've changed many of these, I've had bad clutches right out of the box. If it starts to tick, exchange it.

Forgot how wire arrangement connection went on a male and female fan clutch connectors went since I bought new connectors color wires different from original vehicle wires
